According to the German Magazine Game Star, the upcoming art companion piece will feature art from “Diablo 1, Diablo 2, Diablo 3, and Diablo 4.” Considering it hasn’t been officially released yet and all we’ve had to go on is (credible) leaks, it’s that little bit of confirmation needed to push Diablo fans more towards excitement.ĭespite Immortal featuring a narrative that many have been asking for, with it set to bridge the large gap between Diablo 2 and Diablo 3, long-time fans of the franchise weren’t pleased with the mobile-exclusivity.
The Art of Diablo book is the usual hardcover collector’s item that Blizzard is known for and it’s going to be released to the public on November 3rd. Blizzard revealed last year that there were “several” Diablo projects in the works, one of them being the now-infamous Diablo Immortal, but now it looks like the team is gearing up for the official reveal of Diablo 4 thanks to a recent ad spotted in an official art book. BlizzCon 2019 is just around the corner and though it looks like last year’s debacle still lives on in addition to the recent Hong Kong protest controversies, it looks like the team over at Blizzard are staying on track with what they want to show off to fans.
